I win!!!!

Hey readers,
            It has been a long time since I have written anything on here but it has been decided ......I will be publishing my book via Internet on this very blog. I know it has been a long time coming but the thought of sitting on this book another year is not an option, also I will also be charting my daily life so this is my diary/entertainment. I have so many people to think that I really don't know where to start, I guess the best place to start is by giving all the the glory and honor to the one who deserves it.....My Lord and Savior, for blessing me with this talent. I know that without Him I would be lost, he has done so much for me and brought me through so many trials and tribulations that only He and I may ever know. Well enough about that, that is another story let's start this new chapter in our life and begin this journey together.

Hey fellow bloggers,

  I just realized that blogging can be a great way to release stress, so why not a diary.

Chapter 1: The Beginning

      Life is a journey! You never know what it is gonna throw your way. I know I did not, because had I known, things would not have turned out the way they did. When I was younger I was so naive, I thought I had it all. The two story house, the white picket fence around the yard, the pool in the back, and eating lobster and shrimp every day, with lovable parents. All that changed when the man I once called daddy decided to play God and take my mother's life. My mother was  the chick that every man wanted on his side. She was the one that would take the case for her man and then do the time with no questions asked, she was every thug's dream, but all that stopped when daddy cheated one time too many. Life is journey and in my case it took a turn for the worse. My name is Mercedez Benson and this is my struggle.

This is the beginning of chapter 1.  I would like to know what you guys think about it, hit me up.

Just the beginning

        How are you doing on this fine evening? I'm going to use my first blog as a introduction to my blogging career. A "Splash of Jasmine" is a blog about the life of me, while going through my my writing journey. I have written my first novel and currently writing another. The first book entitled "Life, Love and Deception" will be making its appearance on here soon. I love writing, so for me this is the first step. I am very excited about this!
